It's official, Senator Hillary Clinton was chosen as Secretary of State by President elect Barack Obama. The secretary of state is in charge of foreign policy and stands as a representative to the President on foreign affairs.Clinton will be the third woman to hold this position preceded by Madeline Albright and Condelezza Rice.
