Inauguration Celebration!

This was truly a day to remember in American history. I woke up around 10:30 am and headed straight for the television. I had fresh tears in my eyes as I thought about America swearing in the first black President. My grandparents grew up in a Jim Crow South, and my parents tell stories of racial profiling and being chased home from school. I remember 2 summers ago riding my bike home from work in Pennsylvania, I heard a horn blow. I looked up expecting to see a co worker and was met by a middle finger from a young white man.

Obama's Inauguration was remarkable. Here are some of my fav moments.
- Using Lincoln's bible to be sworn in.
-See all the past Vice Presidents and Presidents. (Bush Senior is over the hill)
- Justice Roberts and Obama's obvious nervousness.
- The Neighborhood ball! Ah the first dance was beautiful. Michelle's Jason Wu gown amazing! (Should have had an updo)
- Waving goodbye to GW Bush as his plane left DC
-Jill Biden Kick ass Knee hi boots and Grey knit dress! CUTE and SEXY.\

* Prayers go out to Ted Kennedy who suffured from a seizure at 2:35 pm during the luncheon.
